Decisions regarding the management and operation of the Saxony are made by the Saxony Board of Directors, with input from owners and residents. The Board consists of nine elected Directors. Any member of the cooperative, resident or non-resident, is eligible to run for a seat on the Board. Elections are held at the annual meeting, which takes place the fourth Wednesday in March. All owners are eligible to vote in Board elections.

Directors serve two-year terms, with three seats open in even-numbered years and four seats open in odd-numbered years. Each newly elected Board chooses a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. The Board's membership is listed in the lobby.

The Board meets in the 1st floor Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Special meetings may be called if necessary. All residents and non-resident owners are encouraged to attend board meetings and participate by raising issues, asking questions and providing ideas and feedback. The agenda for each meeting is posted around the building in advance, and minutes of Board meetings are taken by the secretary and available to all Saxony residents and non-resident owners.
